eBike Flow is Bosch’s app for the current smart-system platform — the software layer that ties your phone to the ConnectModule, drive unit, battery and display. If you ride a new Riese & Müller or other smart-system bike from e-Bike Barn, Flow is the app you will use most.

What you can do in eBike Flow

• Custom riding modes — adjust support strength, acceleration dynamics and torque within limits set by the manufacturer (riding modes guide)
• Performance Upgrade & Extended Boost — unlock higher peak torque on eligible Performance Line CX motors for steep climbs
• Navigation & Range Control — plan routes with elevation and get mode suggestions so you arrive with charge to spare
• Activity tracking — record rides and sync with Strava on supported setups
• Security — eBike Lock, movement alerts and location features via ConnectModule (subscription may apply after trial)
• Software updates — install motor, battery and system firmware over the air
• ABS statistics — on equipped bikes, review braking data from your eBike ABS rides
• Display & remote setup — configure handlebar controls and screen layouts where the manufacturer allows

Setup & pairing

Download eBike Flow (not eBike Connect) from the App Store or Google Play. Turn on the bike, enable Bluetooth on your phone and follow the in-app pairing steps. On a new bike from us, we walk you through this at collection.

Some connected features need a Flow subscription after any included trial period — anti-theft alerts, extended cloud services and similar. Core riding and mode customisation work without paid extras on most bikes.

Flow vs your handlebar display

Flow complements your Kiox, Purion or remote — it does not replace it. The display shows live speed, mode and range at a glance; Flow handles deeper setup, navigation and ride history. SmartphoneGrip setups use Flow as the primary screen while riding.
