Introducing the Carrie Vario, Riese & Mullers new e-Cargo / e-Family bike. This all new compact cargo bike is only slightly longer than a normal e-Bike and thanks to its inovative cargo area one of the narrowest long-john style cargo bikes on the market. This makes it much easier to find a parking place and also makes navigating around town much less stressful. The Vario version features the low maintenance Enviolo stepless shifting gear system and Gates carbon belt drive. The optional "Flex Box" cargo option can be opened up to provide enough space for two children or larger cargo loads. It features a minimulist aluminium frame available in 3 bold glossy colours.

We have based the design of the Carrie on circular design principles. Its minimalist frame, 80% of which is made of recycled aluminium, is powder-coated to conserve resources. Carrie accessories are easy to dismantle, clean and repair, if necessary.

Additional chain lock with Vaude bag
The sturdy Abus chain lock, in addition to the Abus frame lock, provides twice the security for your e-bike. The 130 cm long chain is latched onto the frame lock and you can quickly lock your bike to the nearest lamppost or lock it together with up to three other bikes. The chain thickness of 6 mm ensures a high level of anti-theft protection. Especially practical: frame lock, chain lock and battery lock all use the same key. The 100% recycled polyester Vaude bag is permanently attached to the saddle. You can remove the chain lock from the bag quickly and easily, thanks to its ergonomic shape and roll-up closure. Please note: for smaller frame sizes the lowest saddle position may not be usable when the lock bag is fitted.

The practical Dyed in the Wool Cargo bag holds up to 90 litres. Two handles allow you to conveniently load and unload your luggage. Alternatively, pre-drilled holes mean that you can screw the Cargo bag permanently to the floor of the Basic Box. Use the zipped pocket on the outside of the Cargo bag to hold smaller items. It was hand-crafted in Europe and is made of recycled Ecopak material known for its sturdiness and durability.

It can be combined with the optional Flex Box, which can still be easily folded out and closed even when the child cover is fitted. The cover includes an additional panel that you can either use to darken the viewing window or as a rear panel. We have deliberately refrained from using fibreglass rods and PVC film material in the production process.
